Sir,

I am directed to forward to you for your information and guidance the accompanying Copy of a letter No. 75 of the 20th of February last addressed by the instruction of His Excellency the Governor in letter No:144, No:145, No:146, 731.

Governor in Council to the Owners of the three Houses situated within the Cantonments. In accordance with the intimation made to those Gentlemen in the 25 paragraph of that letter His Excellency further directs me to convey his sanction to register in their names, and to draw out the leases for, the lots of land they may select in lieu of those which they formerly occupied making a special report on the subject for the information of Government.
